Finnish startup Aisti has developed a bio-based, recyclable acoustic panel whose popularity surprised even the company’s founders. Elomatic has served as the company’s consulting and design partner since the pilot plant phase and is now helping Aisti bring the first products to market. The innovative product has required creative problem-solving in production line engineering: when suitable solutions were not available on the market, they were designed in-house.

Stora Enso and Elomatic have closely collaborated in developing the reporting system at the Heinola factory. The cooperation has yielded much-needed results: monitoring production data is now easier and faster. Employees can not only observe process deviations but also examine longer-term trends.

The Virtual Mill virtual environment, developed by Elomatic and Valmet, enables factory workers to explore their work environments virtually. This not only facilitates training but also aids in the planning of maintenance and upgrades. Model Sachsen Papier in Germany has been utilizing Valmet Virtual Mill since the fall of 2023, with really positive feedback.
