Materiality analysis
We conducted a double materiality analysis in spring 2024 in collaboration with the consultancy firm ThirdRock. The aim was to identify Elomatic’s sustainability impacts across the entire value chain.
Elomatic’s double materiality analysis included the following steps:
Preliminary analysis
Interviews and a stakeholder survey involving both internal and external stakeholders
Mapping of impacts, risks, and opportunities
Expert analysis
Validation of results
During the analysis, we engaged extensively with our stakeholders, including employees, customers, partners, and management, to ensure the analysis reflects a diverse range of perspectives and expectations. In evaluating sustainability aspects, we applied a precautionary approach to account for all potential risks and uncertainties. This principle also helped guide our operations to align with sustainability principles.
