Plastic and composite structure engineering
We engineer plastic and composite structures and products for the needs of high-technology industries. We specialize in the engineering of structures with challenging durability and weight requirements.

Additive Manufacturing (AM)
Our AM structure engineering can help you save mass, energy and costs in machinery and equipment.
Additive Manufacturing (AM) allows the engineering of structures and parts optimized for structural integrity and fluid dynamics. By engineering optimized structures, we can help you save on material and energy and often even in manufacturing costs. We have studied especially the engineering and optimization of large (>1 m) structures using AM technologies.
Together with our 3D printing partners, we can offer turnkey deliveries of part and structure engineering or rapid prototypes for product development projects. Being able to combine parts already during manufacture allows for shorter delivery times of tailored structures and reduces the number of parts and the assembly work required. Several metal and polymer materials are available and 3D printing can be carried out near the location of use or assembly, if needed.
We are engaged in developing Finnish AM competencies together with other members of the 3D printing ecosystem FAME.
