Continuous improvement

We invest in developing our expertise and processes. We are also committed to reducing the energy consumption, waste generation, and greenhouse gas emissions caused by our operations.

Developing our expertise is central to our sustainability efforts: the more we invest in knowledge, the better we can drive sustainable development in our customers’ operations. That is why we offer training that supports both current and future job demands. In terms of sustainability, we focus especially on sustainable practices and knowledge of circular economy technologies.

Sustainability is also a core element of our risk management. Sustainability-related risks are identified, assessed, and managed throughout the entire project lifecycle – from design and implementation to operational use.

Quality and information security

For us, quality means reliability and continuous improvement. Our quality management is based on guidelines aligned with the ISO 9001 standard or equivalent principles. We regularly collect feedback from our customers and utilize it to enhance our services and products. We also have the courage to raise new perspectives and warn about potential risks.

Information security is an essential part of our operations. We follow internal policies and security standards to ensure that information remains confidential, intact, and accessible only to authorized parties. We keep our IT networks and services up to date and ensure ongoing cybersecurity training for our personnel.

People and supply chain management

We take care of the wellbeing and safety of our employees in all our activities – both internally and in customer projects. Our goal is to exceed legal requirements and ensure the safety of end-users as well. Our internal guidelines support employee wellbeing, healthy lifestyles, and safety outside working hours.

We require all parties in our supply chain to openly demonstrate their commitment to sustainable development – both in their own operations and throughout the entire value chain. In international projects, we consider all stakeholders and ensure that human rights are respected at every stage of the project.

Minimizing our carbon footprint

Most of our emissions come from commuting, office heating, and IT services. That is why we focus on optimizing energy consumption and responsible procurement solutions. We have already taken concrete steps to reduce our carbon footprint: solar panels have been installed on the roofs of our Turku and Jyväskylä offices, and we are planning to utilize solar energy in other locations as well.

We promote low-emission commuting by encouraging our employees to bike to work and to use public transit for business travel. Remote work opportunities are extensive, and meetings can be held digitally both internally and with customers – reducing unnecessary travel.
