Elomatic participates in Motiva's project - Energy Efficient Electrical Drives - as lead consultant role. The project seeks energy efficiency development opportunities for industrial pumping and blower applications. Elomatic's experts map savings targets from the mills in cooperation with the companies participating in the project. The work includes field measurements, data analysis and feasibility studies for the implementations. In addition, work includes literature review on the energy efficiency possibilities of electric drives and different requirements for the energy efficiency. Elomatic also supports Motiva in updating energy-efficient pumps and motors procurement guides.
ABB Oy, Ahlstrom-Munksjö Oyj, Koja Oy, Metsä Board Oyj, Oy Sinebrychoff AB and Sulzer Pumps Finland Oy are participating for the Energy Efficient Electrical Drives project aimed at improving the energy efficiency of pumping and fan systems.
