Elomatic starts up subsidiary company in Serbia

The latest step in Elomatic's internationalisation is the establishment of a subsidiary in Serbia. Elomatic d.o.o. started operating from its Belgrade office from 30.12.2008. Elomatic Ltd owns 70% of the company with the remaining 30% owned by Serbian graduate engineer and Elomatic d.o.o. Managing Director Ivan Maksic. The company has already recruited its first experts in the ship design field. The goal is to develop operations further to provide services for the energy industry, foodstuffs industry and other process industries in Serbia and the Balkan region. 

The Serbian and other Balkan markets are of particular interest to Elomatic due to the high growth rate (8% first quarter 2008) and the large modernization investments and structural changes in industry. Belgrade ’s central geographical location and good connections to other Balkan countries makes it the ideal location to develop Elomatic's operations in the region.
