In the first week of May 2009, Elomatic announced a new organisational structure that will aid the implementation of the company strategy. A fundamentally new aspect of the new organisational structure is the separation of the resource organisation from the business units. The main idea behind the change is to liberate more time for developing the business unit operations and know how. The new structure will also better support Elomatic’s internationalisation.
Elomatic’s business operations are divided between consulting and engineering business operations and software business operations. The consulting and engineering business units are Marine, Mechanical (formerly Paper & Mechanical) and Process (formerly Life Science). They have each in turn been subdivided into three customer segments as per the graphic
below. Elomatic services are delivered throughout the local and international office network which is supported by Corporate Services.
