The Elomatic structural analysis department offers diverse know-how to different industries. We are specialists in the field and provide support for product development and design and conduct different structural analyses. We serve a wide range of domestic and international equipment suppliers,
engineering offices and machine works.
Structural analysis is arguably the most common application of the Finite Element Method (FEM). Ensuring structural strength in the early design phases avoids costly and even potentially dangerous design errors. The most cost effective cases lead directly to finished products, making the production and testing of several prototypes unnecessary. The importance of structural analysis is visibly
enhanced as demands placed on structures and their integrity are increasingly toughened.
The most useful application areas are stress/strength analyses of new parts and structures. We also conduct FEM analyses on existing parts to clarify and correct identified problems. Typical problems are e.g. excessive vibration or damage caused by fatigue, yielding or fractures.
