The Ship Engineering business area takes care of all assignments related to the ship’s hull structures, propulsion and auxiliary machinery. It's hull, machinery, and electrical teams are able to undertake any ship-related technical tasks from basic design of a particular system to the complete detailed engineering of a newbuilding. When necessary we use our extensive network of subcontractors and partners.

The business area has over the years gained experience in basic and detail design of numerous
passenger ships and a variety of other ship types. In many cases we also support our customers in
matters related to the production process. This also guarantees that our production knowledge is kept
up-to-date. Our own design process is constantly improved to reflect the overall development of design    tools and production methods.
