I founded Elomatic 1970 when I already had some years of experience as a designer, technical director and manager in material administration - all this in major industrial companies in Turku. An important step for Elomatic was taken 1974 when I decided to invest in engineering model technology. It was used for design layout and piping of ship engine rooms and plants. After that  Elomatic grew rapidly and the activities were expanded both geographically and industry wise.

In the 80's Elomatic was already a major player in the international ship design market. The development of a 3D computer aided plant design system - Cadmatic as we now it now - was started to improve our own competitiveness in the challenging global market. It was based on know-how gained from using engineering models and that's why Cadmatic became one of the most advanced 3D ship and plant design software solutions on the market. Proof of its quality is that many of Elomatic's competitors use Cadmatic today. Elomatic is a respected partner in developing and improving industrial investments within the bio and pharmaceutical, food, chemical, paper, mechanical and marine sectors.

I have always had the vision that quality pays off. At Elomatic we create quality by having professional and enthusiastic people, innovative working methods and by checking all documentation very carefully before delivering them to our clients. Now almost 40 years after starting the company, I can proudly look back as well as have confidence in the future - we have created a tradition, an Elomatic corporate culture, which brings true benefits to our clients.
