With the help of panoramic imaging precise 360° picture materials of any target can be produced. High resolution pictures provide a comprehensive and illustrative view of the photographed target. The photographed targets are thoroughly investigated to ensure that all essential elements are contained and that dead space is minimized.
The pictures can be rotated and zoomed in all directions. A minimap or area menu is created of the picture set to ease navigation. It is also possible to move between pictures from standard picture views.
The fast and cost efficient panorama procedure can produce visual marketing presentation materials also of large targets.
In interactive conceptual pictures photorealistic views of structures from the 3D model that are do not even exist at the time of photographing are embedded into the panoramic image. This can be used as presentation material, to support investment decisions and during building permit granting.
For industrial targets the method can be used to provide supporting material or as a user interface to the target’s other documentation.
