Elomatic provides a comprehensive range of design services for the pulp and paper industry. For more than 20 years, we have been engaged in mechanical, plant and process design for companies specialised in paper-, board- and pulp technologies. Our design service includes all stages from conceptual and product development to implementation planning and installation supervision. Project management for major design projects is our core field of expertise.

In paper machines we are specialised in handling the paper and board industry's demanding upgrade and modernisation projects. We offer our customers professional, comprehensive and diverse project management, engineering and consulting services. Our design services are focused on the mechanical design of paper- and board machinery’s different assembly groups and components, including all phases from conceptual and product development to implementation and installation supervision.

Elomatic has been engaged in crane design since 1976 when we received our first commissions from Kone Ltd. The co-operation that began at that time is ongoing and at present our main customer is Konecranes Finland Ltd.

In addition to traditional steel structure- and outfitting design, Elomatic’s part in crane projects also includes installation- and transport planning, strength calculations, electrical planning and production control. Locations of manufacture and control have included Poland, Greece, China, South Korea, Japan and, most recently, Canada.

Elomatic has been engaged in demanding design work for different vehicles and their applications for more than 30 years. We use modern design methods and our projects often include not only the preparation of traditional drawings, but also structural calculations, modelling, usability, electrical engineering, visualisation and the preparation of operating and maintenance instructions. Our customers include Valtra, Sandvik Mining and Construction, Transtech, Vapo, Kesla and RCM Harveri.

Elomatic has extensive experience in machine design and in addition to comprehensive design project deliveries we also complete a wide range of mechanical engineering commissions of different sizes for different industrial sectors.

In these cases the design service may be a small change to an existing structure, the design of a new structure, or the design of a completely new machine that includes mechanical, electrical and automation design as well as project management and installation supervision services. We have the most commonly used design software at our disposal, which allows us to meet our clients specific requirements.
