Elomatic has approximately 150 ship design professionals that perform comprehensive design and engineering tasks for the marine and offshore industries, with expertise covering a wide range of ship types and all design disciplines. We also develop our own range of ship concepts for sale to end customers.

Elomatic has the resources and skills required to successfully complete a wide range of design, engineering and project management tasks for customers in the shipping, shipbuilding and offshore industries. Our services cover all disciplines and the full life cycle of the products from feasibility studies and pre-design to detail design, production support, site supervision and lifecycle solutions

Disciplines – Customer segments

We have structured our Marine organisation into three customer segments, Shipowners, Shipbuilding, and Offshore, reflecting our range of products and services. The engineers in our office network are grouped into expert teams covering all relevant areas of know-how, and each specialised in its own discipline or topic.

Way of Working

Elomatic has successfully completed a variety of different consulting, design and engineering projects, among them projects that have involved up to 200 of our engineers. For each large project we form a project group carefully managed and manned with experts from the various teams within our office network, and if required from liaison companies.

Each project requires seamless communication between the teams, accurate scheduling, co-ordination and management - all services that we provide. Elomatic has the unique possibility to combine design and software development resources under the global Elomatic control and management to guarantee excellent quality products and services at a competitive price. With our sophisticated engineering and communication tools we can distribute the design and review work between our offices. Using the same technology, our customers may follow up project progress in real time.

Each project is scheduled, manned and controlled utilizing our in-house tailor made software. For document management we use the EloDoc system, which we can integrate with the 3D product model and the equipment database to form a base for our lifecycle services directed at shipowners.
